Keywords in the business name
Your profile name should be your business’s actual name, as it appears on your van, invoices and signage. "Smith Locks" is fine. "Smith Locks 24/7 Emergency Locksmith Leeds" breaks Google’s guidelines and is a common trigger for suspension.
An address you don’t work from
Virtual offices and PO boxes aren’t allowed as business addresses. If customers don’t visit you, set the profile up as a service-area business and hide the address, listing the areas you cover instead.
Details that don’t match
Different phone numbers or addresses across directories make a profile look less trustworthy. In a category Google already watches closely, that matters more. Make every listing, including the Master Locksmiths Association directory if you’re a member, match exactly.
Multiple profiles for one business
Creating extra profiles to cover more towns is one of the fastest ways to lose all of them. One business, one profile, with the service area set properly.
If it happens anyway
Don’t create a new profile. Gather evidence that the business is genuine (registration documents, a utility bill, photos of signed vehicles and premises) and submit an appeal. I cover the process in how to reinstate a suspended Google Business Profile, and I offer GBP reinstatement as a one-off service.

The thing that compounds in local SEO is the boring work of getting the fundamentals right, and keeping them right, month after month.
