Why it matters
A complaint to the ASA can mean rewriting your site under pressure. Overclaiming also undermines trust with the patients you most want: the ones who research carefully before booking.
Describe the treatment and leave out the cures
Explain how you assess a patient, what a treatment session involves and what patients can expect. Where you mention conditions, stick to those the ASA accepts there is evidence for, and avoid claims about conditions it has ruled against, such as infant colic or asthma. Check the CAP Code guidance and the GCC’s advice before publishing.
Write for the search, carefully
Patients search things like "chiropractor for lower back pain". A page about how you work with back pain, written within the guidance, can answer that search without promising a cure.
Use the trust signals you do have
"Chiropractor" is a protected title. GCC registration, practitioner profiles, clear prices and easy booking all build confidence without any risky claims.
Reviews follow the same rules
Patient reviews are their own words, but if you quote them on your site they become your advertising. Don’t republish reviews that make claims you couldn’t make yourself.
The local SEO guide for chiropractors covers the rest. The free audit will look at your site with these rules in mind.
The thing that compounds in local SEO is the boring work of getting the fundamentals right, and keeping them right, month after month.
