Before, during and after
Take the before shot from the doorway, then take the after shot from the same spot. The comparison is what customers want to see. A couple of mid-job shots (new pipework, tanking, levelled floor) show the care that goes in behind the tiles.
Light and tidy
Turn on every light, open the blind, and clear the bottles and towels off the surfaces. Shoot from a low corner to make the room look its true size. A phone camera is fine if the room is bright and the lens is clean.
Close-ups of the finish
Tile lines, grout, silicone, the edge of a shower tray. Customers who have been burned before look for exactly these details.
Where to use them
Add a few to your Google Business Profile after every job, and post one with a line about the work. Put the full set on a project page on your site. Group them by type (wet rooms, en-suites, accessible bathrooms) so people can find jobs like theirs.
Ask the customer to add theirs
When you send the review link at handover, ask if they’d add a photo. A customer’s own picture of their new bathroom is very persuasive to the next person reading.
Next steps
Photos are one part of what wins bathroom work locally. The local SEO guide for bathroom fitters covers the rest, and the free audit will show how your profile compares today.
The thing that compounds in local SEO is the boring work of getting the fundamentals right, and keeping them right, month after month.
