A page for each kind of job
Fitted wardrobes on one page, alcove units on another, and so on for the work you want more of. Each page should show examples you’ve built, the materials and finishes you offer, and roughly how a job runs from measure to fit.
Photos that show the craft
Wide shots of the finished piece in the room, then close-ups of doors, handles, internal fittings and the way it meets the wall or ceiling. That detail is why people choose bespoke over flat-pack.
Add the services to your profile
List fitted wardrobes and other bespoke work as services on your Google Business Profile, and post photos of finished pieces. If customers can visit your workshop, say so; it’s a strong reason to choose you.
Work with the people who refer you
Interior designers, builders and kitchen showrooms often need a carpenter they trust. Ask the ones you work with to link to you from their sites, and do the same for them. Those links help your site and bring direct enquiries.
Reviews about the piece
Ask customers to mention what you built and the finish. "Built-in wardrobes in our loft room, perfect fit" tells the next person exactly what they’ll get.
The local SEO guide for carpenters covers the rest of what decides carpentry searches. The free audit will show where your profile stands.
The thing that compounds in local SEO is the boring work of getting the fundamentals right, and keeping them right, month after month.
